Third Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Treatment

I had my third Brazilian laser hair removal treatment this morning at Aura!

I originally planned to wait about 10 weeks after my second laser hair removal treatment at Aura Laser Skin Care Center before going in for the third one. They recommend 6-8 weeks between sessions, but I have found that waiting more time is beneficial for a number of reasons.

I had the second treatment on October 20th 2011, and suddenly the holidays and lots of goings on brought me to the end of December. That was seven weeks following the second treatment, and I finally started to notice shedding. This was very different from my first experience. The shedding delay was due, I believe, to the drastic slow down of hair growth. So, my appointment today came four months and four days since my last treatment - quite a bit longer than recommended.

There were some very significant differences between today's appointment and the last two I had, so I will be sure to discuss those in my upcoming video. Tonight after work I will try to sit down and fill you all in while I bake cupcakes for my room mates birthday.

If you would like to catch up on my treatments so far, two of the videos will be posted below.

  2. hey I found your YouTube videos on Brazilian laser hair removal and I have a couple of questions. I didn't know how else to contact you. Ok so I'm having my first Brazilian laser hair removal on Saturday and I was wondering what's the best way to shave before the procedure? And I was wondering how did your results turn out after the third procedure?

  3. Hey Natasha,

Congrats and good luck on your upcoming treatment! I think the best way to shave beforehand is to start with a brand new razor (I use one with built-in shaving lotion) and get what you can easily reach and see. Then switch to an electric razor for the rest. It has now been over a year since my third treatment and I see about an overall 30% reduction in hair. It still sheds. I just started on my lower legs. Have fun and thanks for the question. :D

  5. Before picking best laser hair removal clinic, it is imperative to discover one where the staff has the best possible capabilities to play out the method. Search for an expert who is board-affirmed in dermatology or corrective surgery. In the event that a medical caretaker expert or doctor's partner will be the one doing the treatment, make sure that there will be a specialist on location to direct. Laser hair removal is a therapeutic strategy, and ought to be dealt with like one.
